Therapy is fundamentally about examining the relationships we have with ourselves and our world. Rather than getting rid of parts of ourselves or "fixing" ourselves, my focus is on helping people be unconditionally present with themselves in a gentle,
non-judgmental way. I believe that richer, more fulfilling living results from allowing all parts of our experience to be felt and accepted, without trying to push away the parts we don't like.  The paradox is that by learning to hold our experience as it is, we can begin to shift our attitudes and bring about lasting change in our ways of living and relating.  Through a combination of traditional talk therapy and Mindfulness based practices,  I help people attain joy, fulfillment, awareness, and deeper levels of self-acceptance.  My approach places emphasis on the therapeutic relationship itself as the primary tool for growth and healing.

"Allowing yourself the space to be as you are...this is perhaps the      most loving and compassionate way you can treat yourself. It helps you make friends with the whole range of your experience...you      discover a self-existing sanity that lies deeper than all thought or feeling. You appreciate the beauty of just being awake, responsive and open to life."  - John Welwood
